Overview
""Fifteen Years In Hell"" is a gripping autobiography by Luther Benson, detailing his harrowing experiences as a prisoner in the notorious Joliet State Penitentiary in Illinois. Benson was wrongly convicted of a crime he did not commit and sentenced to fifteen years in prison, where he endured unimaginable horrors at the hands of sadistic guards and fellow inmates. From brutal beatings to solitary confinement, Benson's account is a shocking and eye-opening look at life behind bars in the early 20th century. Despite the constant physical and emotional abuse he suffered, Benson never lost hope and eventually secured his release through a series of legal battles. This book is a powerful testament to the resilience of the human spirit and a reminder of the injustices that can occur within the criminal justice system. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
