Overview
More quirky goings-on from the peripatetic pen of Roger F. Kennedy * Genetic biologist Frederik Fargas works as part of a research team studying aging in worms. An unappreciated genius (in his estimation, that is), he is wasted on this drudge work. One day a breakthrough occurs. Will Fargas turn in his results? Hm, maybe not. * Lieutenant John Luttwak rediscovers love with the least likely of females, tough psychologist Diane Metz from the Behavioral Sciences Group. The bad news is, his detectives can't seem to get a lead on a vicious police impersonator and his clever girlfriend. * Outspoken sportswriter Matt McCoy has his column taken away for dissing over-the-hill Sports Section editor Phil Pfister. His penance is to write the Dear Gwendolyn advice column. Undaunted, McCoy will use it to exact his revenge. *Fresh from rehab at a dry-out farm in California, action painter Mark Czintos tries to restart his creativity in LA. He sets up his studio in an old firehouse. He meets neon master Z, jazz club owner Ruthie, and perky waitress Teri, who likes to slide down his brass pole. * On a game show, publicist Franny wins a holiday at Playa del Sur, a resort hotel in sunny Malibu. Just the thing to relax her frazzled spirit. On the beach she meets frisky Toot. Suddenly, Franny's low-key holiday turns more venturesome. And ten more.
