Overview
This wonderful set of short stories explore the deeper meanings of family, parenting and friendship that seem to come forth while fishing. The stories range from the realization of a child about the world of which they are now a part, to the wondrous and humorous observations of three men standing next a fishing pond looking at the stars. Like his previous two novels, the exquisite descriptions transport the reader to other realms that seem suspended out of time.
