Author Bio: Tohnie Hynds grew up in the small town of Van Alstyne, Texas, about 50 miles north of Dallas. She received her B.A. degree from Austin College in Sherman, Texas and Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. She resides in Sherman, Texas where she and a partner have a law practice. She is married to Dr. James Berry who practices internal medicine in Sherman. She has been involved in numerous civic activities throughout her career including the local United Way and the local non profit Home Hospice.
