Overview

Natasha is packed and ready to attend her boyfriend's mother's wedding...because she could not find a reason to get out of it. In fact, she wants an out so bad she offers to be Anton's bodyguard when he visits the vampire Council. Too bad he turns her down and insists Natasha keep to their plan to see if the person leaving her gifts follows. The only bright spot she can find is that the trip may turn up a clue who Christopher's father is and how her boyfriend came to be a half-caste. It is clear from the start that Beth, the bride, is not happy with her son's choice in women, but Natasha soon as other issues that take precedence. First another gift appears in her hotel room. Then Anton begins to send her disturbing dreams that lead to a dangerous situation. If all vacations are this way, Natasha has no plans to take another for the rest of eternity.
