Overview
This is not a history of the Mississ ippi delta but the autobiography of mu life as I remember it and as it has been told to me by my father, mother, and many friends from the past and present. I have tried to be truthful, honest, and as clear as i could remember. My experiences growing up in the country; the flood of 1927; the great depession of the thirties; my school years; my first marriage; my service in the Air Corp in World War II; thirty eight years in the food business;twenty years as Realtor and Certified appraiser; Mayor of Indianola, Mississippi for eight years; My second marriage and then my retirement in 2007. I trust everyone will enjoy my book. and come away knowing how important prayer, and the Lord Jesus Christ is and has been to my life. James E. Hutcherson Jr. I
