Overview
Brody Harrigan didn't know what to do with his life, but he knew it had nothing to do with farming! Especially when the Army offered the opportunity to embark on the grandest of all adventures; Artillery training, stationed in of all places, Fort Shafter Hawaii! Sunshine, white sand beaches, shapely hula girls, ocean breezes, Island hospitality, relaxed routines.and the constant rumors of war? If it did finally break out, it'd surely start miles away in Europe! Never on the peaceful Island of Oahu. 1940 had been full of snow and dust clods. 1941 would be the journey of a lifetime! One he would keep to himself for decades!
