Overview
Bereft of their mother when just babes, Jared and Justin Windstar grew up with their father in the vast forest of Lithlor, far from the world of men. Trained to dance with swords in their hands they knew naught of life outside the trees. They knew naught of love, greed or envy, of the hatred of others or the forged bonds of friendship, until at 17 summers they were sent to the city of Blaze to stay with their uncle. Their journey of discovery and learning turns into an adventure of harrowing danger as creatures of legend and nightmare begin to appear in the land of Westenweld after hundreds of years and commit atrocities across the kingdom. Separated for the first time in their lives, they are hunted by assassins bent on exterminating all those of the Windstar name as they slowly uncover clues to a heritage so old almost no one remembers. A heritage lost in time and shrouded in mystery. A heritage that could save or damn all the peoples of Westenweld and beyond. A storm is coming...
