Overview
Are you afraid of God? The fear of God is a human idea and has been around as long as there has been religion. There are, in fact, folks who embrace that fear because it gives them an immutable set of rules by which to live and to judge the lives of others - they don't have to think. God's Not Stupid was not written for them. It was created for those of us who question what the church - any church has to say about the nature of God and his relationship with us. Designed to make you think, it does not insist that you "find a mountaintop, attempt the Lotus Position and contemplate your navel". Rather, God's Not Stupid is a practical and logical understanding of love between man and God. If you have ever been hurt or made to feel unworthy by religious doctrine, God's Not Stupid will open your mind and heart to the real nature of God - one you don't have to fear.
