Overview

You will find Sabrina Dennard's Jumbalaya genre of poetry to be hilarious and ethically motivating. To hear her perform and to read her book will always keep you in the moment of her performance. It's jazzy, it's bluesy and it's funky! You have not cracked your side and kicked your heels until you have read the book and heard her perform Extra, Extra! Read All About It! Evening Street: The Beginning. Her poems, "Ms. Sally Sue," "Down At The Salon," "Howard Jones Barbershop," are just a few that will brighten your girls night out or kickin it with the fellas! Sabrina includes art from her father's collection. Her father, Ernest Dennard Sr. was requested by former President Jimmy Carter to embellish the walls with his art in the Georgia Telephone Rural Museum. He was elated when Sabrina requested his art be placed in her book. Her mother, Etheron Dennard, chose the cover for the book. Sabrina proves it's a family affair whether on Evening Street or in the home of the Dennards!
