Her own healing journey led her to found the Mars Hill Centre in Edmonton that provided healing and hope for people looking for spiritual answers, but were wary of traditional churches. Cheryl is a Registered Professional Counsellor and Master Practitioner in Clinical Counselling with the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association. She holds a Master of Divinity degree from Edmonton Baptist Seminary (now Taylor Seminary) and a B.Sc from the University of Winnipeg.
