Overview
There is a law, irrevocably decreed in heaven before the foundations of this world, upon which all blessings are predicated-And when we obtain any blessing from God, it is by obedience to that law upon which it is predicated. Doctrine & Covenants 130:20-21 The Lord has promised that when we desire a blessing, we must obey the law upon which it is predicated. We might feel confident in obeying it, but how do we discover which law predicates our desired blessing? This book contains 25 blessings and the laws upon which they depend. Some of these include: wealth; answers to prayers; happiness; marriage; parenting; good health; peace; handling adversity; overcoming addictions; and avoiding deception. Latter-day Saints are a faithful, scripture-loving people. Like everyone on earth, we want the blessings that make for a happy life. Perhaps now is a good time to prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it (Malachi 3:10).
