It also has the capacity to switch On Matter or Switch Off Matter. In the last 13.7 billion light years matter has been switched on. However that could change. When is does all matter as we know it will disappear. Then who will be around to know if space exists or not. One thing is pretty sure that if this happens our understanding of space-time will also disappear. As matter is responsible for its creation. Newton said space is made up of a background absolute, Einstein said this has only a hypothetical interest with no application! Which one was right in your mind? If Newton was right then this author may also be right extending Newtons vision. If Einstein was right why did he spend the last 30 years of his life trying to find the Ultimate Theory of Everything? and fail? Then during this period why did he reinvent the concept of the Aether after saying it had no validity? If Newton was right and there is a background absolute what need is there of string Theory! The universe either exists or it does not.
