Overview
As the title suggests, this book is a collection of expository sermons based upon Paul's first letter to Timothy and is intended to serve as A (not "the") reading of this important letter - i.e., as an example of how one pastor has understood and applied these passages to a particular congregation. Writing from within an evangelical and reformed tradition, the authors goal is to make the continued relevance of Paul's writings clear, accessible, winsome and compelling for his readers, with a view to encouraging believers and promoting the ongoing work of God's kingdom.
