Overview

Unlike exploration in objective reality in which there is a methodology for exploration there is no methodology for exploring the inner reality. So "doing" is not involved in inner exploration. But we can create a situation in which it happens. Ordinarily we are living in a closed existence of conditioning in which there is convenience but we lead almost a dead life. Witnessing consciousness explores the inner reality. A human who seeks comfort and security cannot explore the inner reality. We have to create a receptive situation in which witnessing consciousness can happen. For this you have to transcend the accumulated knowledge which is just information and it is a dead entity. Thought arises from this dead entity and so it is not the right instrument for exploring living inner reality. Knowing is spontaneous. You must take inner exploration joyfully and playfully but never seriously. It is only in a relaxed moment exploration is possible. Exploration is an end in itself.
