Overview
Joe Paterno The Musical: A Satire is a funny, devastating, blistering look at what happened at Penn State when the news media, politicians, university trustees, and the NCAA abandoned the constitutional right to due process in order to serve their various self interests. Mike McQueary sings about his philosophy on testifying under oath. A woman in pearls sings an aria of woe and longing. The true story of Mark Emmert's hair is revealed. And who knew that Louis Freeh was L'il Louie the rapper? This 11-act play, with a cast of dozens, includes the deceased and presumed deceased and the imprisoned. It will likely offend the few it does not entertain. So be it. A.J. Smith
