Clinical Supervision: Legal, Ethical. and Risk Management Issues - Clinical supervision is an increasingly important area in mental health, medicine and the helping professions in general. Formal professional classroom instruction in mental health and social services is typically followed by mandatory hours or even years of supervised clinical placements and, in some cases, even post licensure.
