Overview
Charles Dexter Ward says there are thoughts that have gotten away from us, thoughts that can possess us, and often do, and afterwards do our thinking for us. And if he is right, then the Slim Man is one of those things that have gotten away from us, and is now the one creating new waves. And if he is wrong, then that would mean that the Slim Man always was. It would mean that the Slim Man has been abducting children for a very, very long time.
