On a sunny, peaceful morning in a vineyard, a snail named Aaron celebrates his first birthday by embarking on his long-awaited, initial climbing trip with his proud father, a successful 'mountaineer', leading the way. Beaming with delight, both father and son begin to climb one of the poles as Kookaburra watches perched on a tree nearby. Soon, Father Snail realizes that Aaron has stopped climbing! Anxious and dejected, the little one asks his father to take him home. The duo try scaling the pole the next day and the day after, only to turn back before reaching the summit when Aaron stops and sadly requests to return home, again and again.
