Overview
Love generally has many obstacles but what to do when the strongest deterrent is your own belief and guilt? This is one of the questions explored by Illicit, a coming-of-age tale of Angie - a young, beautiful girl. For someone very easy to fall in love with, Angie is not too lucky in matters of heart. A budding adolescent infatuation is cut short when tragedy uproots her from Miami, inducing her to migrate to Sydney. While studying to be a lawyer there, she dodges quite a few suitors and seducers, including one of her tutors. She even meets her soulmate but circumstances force her to distance herself from him. Embark on a journey with Angie as she travels to five different continents in the quest of love and adventure. In the midst of clearing her own turmoil, Angie even investigates and successfully solves a murder mystery. This is one of the few books to contain romance, suspense, humor and tragedy in equal doses. Be ready for an emotional rollercoaster ride while perusing this interesting blend of heartache and ecstasy.
