Overview
Driving home, after yet another unsuccessful marriage counseling session, Cynthia Barnett finds herself waging an internal battle. She has just announced to her husband of four years, Marc Barnett, that she no longer loves him. Her rash announcement will either lead her down the unknown path of divorce, force her husband to change his selfish ways, or encourage her to change her own mind-staying married to a man whose utter disregard, and blatant deceit, lies in direct conflict with her own happiness. Divorce, she knows, is absolute. But, staying married to a man who refuses to factor her into his life seems just as daunting a prospect. No matter what option Cynthia picks, at the end of the day, she knows she has to live with her decision. The choice, ultimately, is up to her. Through a series of memories, and humorous twists of fate, Cynthia takes the reader on a life-changing journey. She learns to stand up for herself, to stand up to the man she once loved, and to strengthen her resolve in the infinite steadfastness of God's heart.
