A powerful time potion has given Clarissa, a modern college student, the opportunity to travel back to the year 1861. Life in the Victorian era is far more difficult than Clarissa anticipated. Her modern thinking impedes her ability to fit in with the past. Everything goes wrong, until a chance encounter with the handsome, George Laurent, changes everything. Although George is already engaged to be married, he is captivated by Clarissa's untimely demeanor, and a passionate romance ensues. With her days in the past quickly running out, will Clarissa find a way to transcend the barrier of time?
