In 1972, the Gay Liberation Front met in Chicago and adopted an official four-point platform. That platform included: 1. A campaign to repeal all laws prohibiting sexual acts between consenting persons. 2. A campaign to repeal all laws governing the age of consent for sexual acts.3. A campaign for the creation of sex education courses to be taught by homosexuals, presenting homosexuality as a valid, healthy, life-style. 4.
