Overview
For the past two decades, organizations have been building out local area networks (LANs) and corporate datacenters, however with the proliferation of the "cloud", organizations now have the choice of leveraging cloud-based resources to host their systems and applications. While small businesses may be able to put "everything" up in the cloud, larger enterprises will likely remain in a hybrid model for a while, with some I.T. resources remaining on-premise, and other I.T. resources being situated in the cloud.
