This workbook is a companion to the 8 award-winning Happy Kids Songs albums. Custom-tailored to kids 4-8 years old, the combination of songs and activities considerably enhance the power and benefit of the lessons. They are fun, positive learning tools for both school and home, and provide a means for children to learn across the "multiple intelligences" that enhance learning and retention. In the first section, for each of the 40 Happy Kids Songs, a lyrics page and a child's coloring or activity page reinforce a key concept. These pages may be reproduced to help kids learn the song and understand its message. For easy use by children on their own, this 80-page section has been placed at the front of the book. The second section, beginning on page 86, is a collection of activities for parents and teachers to do together with their children. These hands-on learning experiences reinforce the key concepts of the songs. These activities and full-production songs are both highly entertaining and age-appropriate-adult quality music, but with words and themes that kids can really relate to. There may be no more powerful method of learning than through music, and no more important lessons for children than those that focus on character and social and emotional skills.
