Overview
An action-packed western romance novel, La Vida takes you to a small town in northern New Mexico in 1883 where the daughter of a local rancher is passionate about her mixed Spanish- and English-speaking town, whose name means "life."Abigail Harrison is determined to discover what powerful hidden force is behind the band of murderous outlaws who have been terrorizing La Vida-and put a stop to it. But she can't do it alone, and no one else has the guts to stir up any trouble. When retired US marshal Tylor McBain rides into La Vida on his way to a quiet life in Texas, his horse has slipped a shoe, and all he's looking for is a blacksmith, a bathhouse, and a saloon. What he finds, however, is a gunfight with the bandits and a brave, beautiful young woman whose pleas for help he just can't ignore.Steeped in the rich culture of a unique region with a storied past, La Vida will carry you away to "the Land of Enchantment," where two characters who are perfect for each other must fight a dangerous battle to save the town-and find a way to be together, despite family pressures that are keeping them apart.
