Overview
This study focuses on the social, economic, and environmental issues related to the oil and gas industry which are salient to members of communities in five selected counties located on or near the coast of the Gulf of Mexico in southeast Texas. The primary goal of this project is to identify the issues and concerns of stakeholder groups in the coastal region, as well as to understand the relationships among various issues and groups.
