Overview
My book is about my tumultuous journey through a lifetime of struggling with many illnesses, diagnosed and MISdiagnosed, treated and MIStreated. I am 64 years old and since the age of 8 I have been a victim of MISjudgements and MISperceptions which have impacted on my self-worth. Medical people and treatments are fallible and yet we have to put our trust in them.Unfortunately this can be a source of added pain and sorrow. Seeking answers and treatments can lie elsewhere than with just orthodox medicine. This journey is as much a spiritual journey of discovery to attain a peace within myself as it is harmony in my body. I wish to take the reader through my journey with a smile and a sense of humour, also bringing hope and comfort to others who may be suffering alone and have lost faith.
