Overview
The world, for what it's worth, has ended. The buildings are crumbling, the air is rotten, and the dust in the wind turns the sky red. The only people left are the ones nobody wanted to live: the thieves, the murderers, the degenerates. In a word, the meek. Have they shaped the earth into what it is, or are they just products themselves? THE LAND THEY INHERITED is a novella about everything we fear in our lives. There is no light, and there is no hope. There is nothing left. This is not the world to which we look forward: this is just what we left for the meek, and the story of what they do with it.
