Overview
A single family of Faqier Yezidis is followed from their home in their remote village of Tel Azer in the Sinjar District through their attack by ISIS, retreat to Mount Sinjar, escape to the Kurdistan Region, and resettlement in the midst of continuing crisis. The story is true, and the people are real. The story was drawn from hundreds of interviews with victims and witnesses.
