Overview
When reading reviews, or participating in writing workshops, Steven Harz is often told that his writing could easily be converted into song lyrics, specifically country music lyrics. Perhaps this is because his voice was formed on the backroads and Main Streets of rural Maryland and southern New England. His stories and love notes are reminiscent of mid- to late-century Americana, and contain scenes and emotions with which we can all identify.
