Overview
Halloween. Ah, Halloween. The word fills us with images of dressing up in costumes, running from house to house with our siblings and friends collecting a wild assortment of candies and other treats. Halloween brings happy memories of carving faces into pumpkins with family and friends. Smiling faces, scary faces, all types of faces that capture the spirit of this wonderful holiday. Where did this custom of cutting faces into pumpkins begin? That is where Peter comes in. Peter was a most unusual pumpkin - a magical pumpkin. Peter came into the world with the ability to see, hear, feel, think and talk. Peter had a most beautiful face, but his face could only be seen if he was loved. This story tells how love changed Peter and changed Halloween forever.
