This songbook is to be used for sung worship during Lent. It is composed in a soulful African American style and is very easy to sing. This music is written in a universal style appropriate for all cultures worldwide. It's simplicity and soul provide for a moving yet restrained lenten worship experience. For use by choirs, cantors, congregations and piano/guitar, this music may be accompanied by a variety of ensembles. The mass is written in a unison style with frequent call and response setting and an extended Penitential Rite to be sung by priest or cantor.
