Overview
The year is 2042. In this sequel novel, the Ancestors (Aquilaeons) have investigated artefacts from a crashed star-ship sent out by their descendants (the Oceanids) 40,000 years before, the wreckage of which is now located on Mars. Humans from Earth's first colony become ambassadors, breaking the news to their home planet, of this first contact situation. In assisting these aliens, it is proven that human DNA contains genes from the Oceanids. Meanwhile the Oceanids, themselves an advanced space faring rade, have pushed the faster-than-light boundary beyond 6x ftl speed and torn a hole in space-time trapping them in a parallel juniverse and need help to escape. A number of adventures delay their return, until back in their own universe, they are involved with a ruthless race called the Apollumi that want to subjugate workds into their Empire.
