The purpose of this book is to pay tribute to amateurs and pros, particularly in football, baseball, basketball, and its participants from the last three decades of the millennium. This is my way (the everyday fan) of acknowledging those who have made college and pro sports a very special part of my life--I never imagined that I would become such an avid fan.
