Overview
I never could have dreamt that my life would turn out the way it did. There was never any warning that it would end up being conflicted, chaotic and dangerous. Most of my childhood felt relatively normal, aside from watching my father's gambling habit develop. When my apartment door was knocked down one night, and I was kidnapped by two men from a wild family crime unit, I thought I'd never live to see tomorrow. What were they going to do with me? How was I going to live a normal life again? As it turns out, I did live to see another day, but not until I was drugged, hit with a poison arrow and moved from safe-house to brothel,all in the name of barter for my father's debts. Who would have thought? To think that I would actually find love amidst all of this seemed absurd, but as they say: the truth is stranger than fiction.
