Overview
***A Screenplay by Caroline Michalicki and Dick Oswell*** In an idyllic village some time ago, precocious six year old Lucy lives with her Grandpa. She hopes that the candles lit nightly in every villager's window will bring angels to cure her best friend Clara who is blind and ill. When Frankie, a midget, and his sidekick Gregor, a giant, arrive across the impassable bay, Lucy mistakes them for the godly messengers she's been praying for. Far from holy, the duo are on a mission to deliver a child back across the bay to their boss, icy Madam Moon, who runs a fish factory staffed with orphan children who work by day and play at her carnival by night. "Little Flames" speaks to the child in all of us. Part adventure, part fable and all parts fun this brand new fairy tale bears all the elements of a classic.
