Overview
The moment before a snowflake hits the lake top and dissolves. The split second before a speck of ash, drifting upward from a barrage of flames, disappears against an inky sky. These are some of the snapshots Ken Daniszewski highlights in his meditative collection, Poems of a Moment. Exploring themes of human connection, transcendence, and meaning in the seemingly mundane, Daniszewski's poems are at once traditional and modern. Writing in this neotraditional style, Daniszewski works within classical forms while challenging the reader with timeless philosophical questions. At its heart, Poems of a Moment revels in the collision of the eternal and passing moments of beauty.
