Overview

In this book, I'm going to deal with what magick is, I'm going to go into why magick works when you actually perform a ritual, of course it does involve spirits, and it does involve supernatural powers but there is another reason. If you notice that the more intention, you have towards the ritual, the more effective it is, so there is an individual component in every single ritual. In many ways Aliester Crowley was right to say, "Do What though wilt shall be whole of the law" but I'm going to say, yes unabashed individualism is fine, but it's unabashed individualism within the collective, and we have to remember that. No man is an island and those who persecute you are also part of you. We will discuss individuality, embracing of the dark side, being present in life. We will discuss how formality in magick is actually destroying it and making it harder for people to perform it. We discuss the dangers of making magick a form of escapism and of self-aggrandizement. You will learn about embracing your individuality. You will also learn how group consciousness affects your magick. With that, let us begin.
