Knights & Their Dragons: Stories About Facing The Dragons Of Fear And Frustration

Fear and frustration are like dragons. Sir Stephen and Sir Henry were brave and bold knights who overcame fear and frustration to find young dragons and make them their friends. Stories about their adventures teach youths how to face and tame the Dragons of Fear and Frustration and make them powerful friendly forces. Sir Stephen was naturally fearful and cautious. He had pick a good plan and build up his courage courage to face his fear. His long lost brother, Sir Henry, was fearless, but challenged by frustration that burned in him like the fire of the dragon. He had to cool the fire of his frustration so he could think of a plan to achieve his goals. Both knights befriended young dragons that grew to become powerful helpers. The Dragon of Fear became "Protector Dragon" and protected the village sheep from packs of wolves. The Dragon of Frustration became "Sir Drag-on" and pulled huge logs to help construct buildings in the village. The brothers and their dragon friends had great adventures together, and they all learned from each other. Fearful Stephen was a cautious and careful planner, but he had to learn that bold action was sometimes needed. Fearless Henry was naturally quick to act, but he had to learn to "look before he leaped' and think before he acted. Protector Dragon was afraid of his own fire, but had to learn to use his fire in a controlled way to keep the village safe. Sir Drag-on had explosive power, but he had to learn to cool his fire so he wouldn't set the woods ablaze. The knights and their dragon friends had complimentary characteristics. Each of their natural tendencies became strengths in certain situations. Bold Sir Henry faced the river currents without fear when he acted to save Sir Stephen, while Stephen developed a plan to safely face the river rapids when cautious preparation was needed to save Henry. Protector Dragon used his more fearful nature to warn of approaching danger and save the village sheep, while explosive Sir Drag-on used his power to pull huge stones to help build a large town hall in the village. The nights and their dragon friends became a closely connected team. They worked together and took turns being brave enough to face fears and bold enough to fight frustrations, as they all learned from each other.
