It is the consolidation of my thirty-year parenting experience as my youngest child, Georgina, turns sixteen. Georgina and her father contribute their insights and strategies to this book. This book is made richer by the contributions of parents, teachers and young adults who wrote so eloquently about their lives. My children are: Nicolas is an investment banker, Kit is a Lieutenant in the Royal Navy, Katerina is an interior designer, Jack is a property developer and Georgina is still at school.
