The sketches and doodles contained in this book were generated for pure fun or they were commissioned. You can probably tell the difference between the types. But they all begin the same way. A doodle that begins to belong on the page. No one else can see what it might be. But something guides the pencil and pen, things start to stick, take shape. I have to discover all those marks that stick.
