At the age of 23 Chad Steele is a widower leaving him to raise a two-year-old son and a new business to build. For the next ten years he works hard building a thriving construction business and dedicates his life raising an ever determined son. His friends see the sadness that remains hidden deep inside of him and often try to fix him up with the so called right woman and are confused when none catches his interest.
