Overview
Altair is the courageous commander of the Saint Jacques, the bright star of the Spanish fleet, the pride and joy of Governor Ramon, the viceroy of Veracruz. Trental is the legendary pirate heading the Erebus, the nightmare of the seas and a thorn in the Spanish economy, already shaky because of the prolonged wars with France and England. It takes place around the beginning of the XVII century. They attempted to repair the damage during Philip IV's reign by stipulating a peace agreement with France and putting down piracy as drastically and fiercely as possible. The two bitter enemies face each other in a titanic battle to win a priceless treasure. It will be the beginning of a long story consisting in challenges, boarding and shipwrecks, and biting, ironic and violent dialogue. There are secrets and lies, where friends become enemies and veiled gazes hide astonishing identities.
