Crisis after crisis... with hardly a breath to even think about Christmas... let alone get our hearts right. And, yet, in the midst of all the crazy - I find that in the depths of my soul I long for the greatest story of all - about a King who comes right into the messy of this world to fulfill a promise of redemption and pour out an incredible love like no other. Everything in me struggles to let my Jesus come into the mess and ugly of my life - because I truly want it to be perfect first. But, the more I journey, the more I realize just how much my desire for perfect is really part of my messy - and I desperately need this Savior. Whatever the circumstances around your Christmas are this year - may you find peace and hope in inviting Jesus right into the mess.
