It explains why this happens and why black youths especially may see crime as their only option. They are kept down by the divide, the way western societies have marginalized 'the other'. Teaming up together to go for success is the path to regaining self-respect and influence and hope. This book is about breaking down the environment of socially and economically disadvantaged groups.
