Overview
An epic portrait of Gary Bell, the hot-rodding loner, lover, and local legend, 'The Ballad of Carson Creek - The Lone Wolf' is a three part saga that takes you on a grand journey across one rebel's life, weaving you through heartbreaking tragedies and blissful triumphs. Set against a backdrop of the small, rural town of Carson Creek, in an age when the only place better than being behind the steering wheel was being in the backseat, when drive-ins and drag strips reigned supreme, 'The Lone Wolf' spans over two decades of mid-Century Americana in a series of short stories that document Mr. Bell's daring exploits, his passionate relationships, and his constant, secret struggle to come to grips with a grim past. Part 2: 'The Carson Valley Kid', taking place from 1955 to 1959, follows The Lone Wolf as he traverses his tumultuous teenage years; through love, heartbreak, loss, and triumph, all the while continuing to weave the epic tapestry that is the life of a legend...
