Love is a strange and powerful thing. It can be a beautiful cocktail of euphoria and happiness or misery and depression. Love attaches us to another person and we give up a part of ourselves. Love burns at the very center of everything that we do. Love can help us cope and it can also determine how we feel. Within love, there is promise and patience. The impossible seems possible and all seems right in the world. Without it, life is a continuous battle against sadness, loneliness, and emptiness. People do and put up with astonishing things for the ones they love simply because they cannot endure the thought of being without them or ending up alone.
