Financial Security In Ten Steps. Diversify, Create Multiple Streams of Income and Retire a Millionaire. This book, originally written to my three children, is my personal story about the ten steps I took to create my diversified portfolio and achieve financial security. I want my children to know these ten steps and to understand that if they are to achieve financial security, they need to take ownership of their own financial situation and create their own financial security. Financial security is an individual responsibility. You cannot pass this responsibility off to your financial advisor or your broker or your spouse. You need to take ownership of your own future and your own finances. After I wrote the first draft of this book I asked a few people to read the draft and give me feedback. I was excited to learn that others were encouraging me to share this book to a wide audience and not just limit this book to my children. My hope is that anyone that wants to achieve financial security can learn from this book.
