Overview
The Michaels' family moved across America to escape the scandal that divided their once happy home life. Now living in Portland Maine, they take a summer beach vacation to try and patch up the hurt they all feel. Yep one morning the sun does not rise, sending the world into panic. The next day there is no dawn either, but that is the least of the Michaels' worries. Something else has taken over the ever-present darkness: unheard of creatures from unknown nightmares. When they are divided in this new dark world, do they have the strength to find their way back together, or will death and darkness tear them part? Peter joins the ranks of Clark Ashton Smith and Frank Belknap Long in creating a believable cosmic horror yarn that does not bore you senseless after the first couple of pages but keeps you gripped until the very last word. Brilliantly written, evocatively told - this book should propel Peter Mark May into that immeasurable horror of respectability... - Johnny Mains, Editor of Dead Funny 1 &2 and Back From The Dead
